Jefferson Street Art Crawl June 2019

THIS COLLECTION IS ABOUT THE IDEA OF BEING VULNERABLE AND THE DIFFERENT WAYS PEOPLE MAY DEFEND THEMSELVES FROM HARM. IT ASK THE QUESTION DO OUR DEFENSE MECHANISMS MAKE US STRONGER OR WEAKER AS INDIVIDUALS, COMMUNITIES, OR AS A COUNTRY? ARE WE ABLE TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN ACTUAL THREAT OR SOMETHING DESIGNED TO FRIGHTEN US?  OFTEN TIMES THE MORE DANGEROUS THREATS GO UNNOTICED WHILE HARMLESS DECOYS FOR OUR ATTENTION. FIVE PIECES FROM THE UNTITLED SEVEN PIECE SERIES WERE EXHIBITED AT ONE DROP INK DURING THE JEFFERSON STREET ART CRAWL DURING THE 3RD ANNIVERSARY AND JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION IN jUNE OF 2019.
